How does Vigil verify alerts before sending?
We require corroboration from at least 2 independent sources before sending any alert. CISA KEV entries are always sent immediately — they're already verified by the US government as actively exploited. For CVEs, we cross-reference VulnCheck NVD++, GitHub Advisories, and OSV.dev.
What counts as a 'tool' in my stack?
Any SaaS service, open source library, or infrastructure component your team depends on. Vercel, Stripe, Supabase, GitHub, PostgreSQL, Redis — all count. You can choose from our list of 50+ pre-configured vendors or add custom entries.
How quickly will I get notified after a breach?
Our pipeline polls CISA KEV and vendor security feeds every 30 minutes. For CISA KEV entries, we send within 60 minutes of the entry being published. For vendor RSS feeds and advisory bulletins, we typically send before the vendor's own customer notification email.
Can I cancel at any time?
